Activities & Services
At Kirk Kove we offer a number of activities and services to make your stay with us enjoyable.
Excellent Walleye and Bass Fishing
Big Gull Lake is a large spring fed headwater lake of the Mississippi River System. The Lake has an excellent reputation for walleye and bass fishing, and its scenic beauty. The walleye and bass thrive in this lake due to its irregular bottom, bays and islands. Big Gull Lake is 12 miles in length east to west.
Big Gull is a pristine, unpopulated lake with many excellent fishing spots which vary depending upon the time of year. When you arrive at the Resort ask where the fish are biting and the best lure and bait recommendations. We want you to have an amazing fishing experience - please ask for advice!
PLEASE NOTE: We no longer issue fishing licenses.
If you aware of the walleye fishing in Lake Nipissing and the French River but don't wish to drive the great distance to get there - try Big Gull Lake. Although our location is remote we are very accessible to the United States, Ottawa, Kingston and Toronto areas. It's not far and will not disappoint!
